Project Description > Greenways Incorporated is serving as a subconsultant to PROS Consulting to prepare the Open Space and Trails Element of the Durango Park, Open Space, Trails and Recreation Master Plan.
Based on project meetings, community workshops, and existing studies, Greenways Incorporated will prepare a report to address several issues that are important to open space conservation and future trails development in Durango, Colorado: 1) an Open Space and Trails Vocabulary, 2) a Definition of Need for Open Space and Trails, 3) a Conservation Toolbox, 4) an Assessment of Land Use Ordinances, 5) Priority Open Space and Trail Projects, 6) Next Steps, and 7) Funding and Financing of Open Space and Trails.
