Trail Design and Development Review

Does your community have an existing greenway trail that needs to be evaluated? Greenway development standards have changed dramatically during the past twenty-plus years. Some greenway systems employ outdated design and construction standards. Some greenway trails have not been properly maintained. Chuck can provide your community or organization with an independent, fact-based assessment of an existing greenway trail, and define an action plan that can improve function, operation, and public safety, and promote more enjoyable use.

Operations System Review

Is your greenway and open space system in need of a check-up? Greenway and open space systems age, and as a result can develop problems related to their function, use and operation. Chuck Flink can visit your community greenway and open space system and complete a check-up measuring the lands and facilities against the state-of-the-practice. Chuck’s evaluation will include a list of recommendations and an action plan for implementation.

International Greenway Consulting

Is your NGO or international community interested in developing a greenway project? Chuck Flink has provided consulting services to clients around the globe, including organizations and communities in Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, China, Hungary, Japan and Venezuela. Chuck has worked directly with NGO’s and more formally through government agencies. He can address the vision for greenways, discuss community benefits, or focus on a specific greenway corridor.
